On its sides there are small art galleries, exhibitions, art workshops and Ukrainian souvenir shops. The Andreassteig is one of the most interesting places in Kiev. Every year, on the last weekend in May, Ukrainian artists from all parts of the country meet here and offer homemade pottery, traditional clothing, beautiful paintings, carvings, handmade glassware, porcelain and many more other artistic objects for sale.
