1st highlight: City Tour - Opera House, The Rocks & Harbor Bridge
Today is dedicated to Sydney's architectural heritage. We start our tour with the city's landmarks: we visit one of the striking and famous buildings of the 20th century - the Sydney Opera House. We then stroll through Sydney's oldest neighborhood - The Rocks - the birthplace of European Australia. Here, in hidden alleys, there are numerous shops, cafés and the city's first pubs. Finally, we climb the symbol of the development of modern Sydney - the Harbor Bridge.

2nd highlight: free time
Option: Visit to the Sydney Tower
In the afternoon you can explore the city on your own. Our recommendation: visit the Sydney Tower - the tallest building in Sydney (305 m) and one of the city's most popular attractions with an observation deck and restaurant.

1st highlight: contact animal park
In the morning we visit the contact animal park where we can hug a kangaroo and even look in its pocket. We also meet cute koalas and penguins here, which you can even feed if you wish.

2nd highlight: Blue Mountains National Park (UNESCO)
The Blue Mountains get their name from the natural blue haze created by the vast eucalyptus forests in this World Heritage Site. During an exciting walk in the heart of the national park, we will enjoy its famous "Three Sisters" rock formations, impressive waterfalls, pristine rainforest and learn about the ancient Aboriginal heritage of the region.

Highlight: Cave systems "Jenolan Caves"
In the morning we explore one of the most beautiful and oldest cave systems in the world - the Jenolan Caves! Explore the country's natural wonders on a tour of the park's various caves with underground rivers and amazing rock formations.

Overnight in Sydney

1st highlight: Flight to Tasmania
In the morning we fly to the capital of the island of Tasmania - Hobart.
Our driver will take us to the hotel for the check-in.

2nd highlight: The historic site of Port Arthur
After lunch we visit the World Heritage Port Arthur Historic Site and wander around the preserved ruins at the Open Air Museum. In this very well preserved convict settlement in Australia, we can imagine the harsh life of 19th century convicts - in the midst of a dramatic coastal scenery. Then the viewpoint "Pirates Bay", a high natural bridge of the sea cliffs "Tasmans Arch" and the deep trench "Devil's Kitchen" are on our plan for the day - the magnificent geological formations of Tasman National Park.

Drive to Strahan - a former port on the west coast of Tasmania

Highlight: Mount Field National Park
In the next few days we will experience an exciting journey through the wild west of Tasmania. Our first stop today is Mount Field National Park. Here we walk between the tallest eucalyptus trees in the world and enjoy the most beautiful waterfall on the island - Russell.

Option: 6 h boat tour along the incredibly beautiful "Gordon River"
Immerse yourself in the calm surroundings of the Gordon River and learn about the history of these remarkable locations including Macquarie Harbour, Hells Gate, Legacy Wharf and Sarah's Island.

Highlight: little penguins on Bonnet Island
In the evening we meet our local guide and take a speedboat ride to Bonnet Island, where a colony of the world's smallest species of penguins nests. We walk around the rocky island and learn more about these birds and their habitat. In addition, tonight we enjoy delicious drinks and snacks with a sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Please note: For this day we recommend that you wear sturdy, closed hiking shoes, a fleece jacket, a warm hat, gloves and a waterproof jacket.

1st highlight: Henty Sand Dunes
In the morning we take an exciting walk through the huge dunes of Tasmania's west coast. Extending several kilometers towards the inland and 15 km along the coast, they are a desert amidst the island's tropical forests.

2nd highlight: St. Clair National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Tasmanian Wilderness)
In the afternoon, if the weather is nice, we hike through the beautiful Cradle Mountain Park, which has preserved its original nature. Jagged peaks, lakes carved by glaciers and primeval rainforest - the diversity and beauty of the park's landscape is breathtaking! We may also be lucky enough to spot Tasmanian devils, platypuses, echidnas and other rare animals on the trails.

Driving time: approx. 4 h

1st highlight: Bay of Fires
After breakfast, we experience one of the most famous places on the island - Bay of Fires. Stunning beaches, lagoons and rocky cliffs alternate on the coastline, which stretches for more than 50 km. Part of it is famous for its orange granite rocks covered in lichen. Combined with white sand and turquoise water, this place is a real natural wonder. Here we enjoy fabulous views and take an exciting walk along the coast.

2nd highlight: Coles Bay
In the evening we arrive at the coastal village of Coles Bay, nestled beneath stunning pink granite mountains. The calm, crystal clear waters and uncrowded beaches are ideal for swimming, boating and kayaking. Optionally, you can join a wine tour in the evening to taste the best of Australian wines.

Driving time: approx. 3.5 h

Highlight: free time
On this day you can explore this heavenly bay on a hike or relax on Wineglass Bay, which has repeatedly made it onto the list of the best and most beautiful beaches in the world. With a bit of luck you can see dolphins frolicking in the bay.
The breathtaking viewpoints, which open up a wide view over the bay to the green forest, can be reached via several hiking routes.

Overnight in Coles Bay

1st highlight: Flight to Melbourne
Early in the morning we return to Hobart where we fly to Melbourne. Our driver meets us at Melbourne Airport and escorts us to the hotel.
Driving time: approx. 2.5 h
Flight duration: approx. 1.5 h

2nd highlight: City tour of Melbourne
Melbourne is considered the cultural and sporting capital of Australia. It is famous for a mix of Victorian and modern architecture, parks and gardens and its multi-ethnic population.
In the evening we take a stroll along the city's charming waterfront, its gardens and historic districts. Along with our guide, we'll learn about Melbourne's past and present, and see Captain Cook's house, which was built in England in the 18th century and then was carefully transported here.
We then go up to the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower, home to the panoramic observation deck and the world's highest post office - from here you can send a postcard with a stamp showing Queen Elizabeth II.

Overnight in Melbourne

Highlight: Colonial City "Sovereign Hill" - full day
An exciting tour into the past awaits us today: we drive to the historic city of colonial times, Sovereign Hill. Life of the late 19th - early 20th centuries is fully reproduced here. We try to find gold, have souvenirs made in the blacksmith shop, taste beer in the tavern and descend underground into a deep lead mine to hear the story of the discovery of the "Welcome Nugget" found in 1858.

Overnight in Melbourne

Highlight: The spectacular Great Ocean Road
In the morning we drive along the Great Ocean Road - Australia's most famous road and one of the most scenic drives in the world, winding along the ocean, passing through eucalyptus forests and offering travelers breathtaking views. Along the way we will get to see the Bells Beach, one of the most popular surfing beaches, the Erskine Falls in the Great Otway National Park, and Teddy's Lookout, which is atop a cliff with amazing ocean views.
At sunset we see the Great Ocean Road's most stunning natural feature - the Twelve Apostles, the huge rocks rising out of the ocean.

Overnight in Apollo Bay

1st highlight: free time
In the morning you have enough time to swim or take a walk on the beautiful Apollo Bay beach with azure blue waters.

2nd highlight: Treetop walk in Otway Forest Park
Before returning to Melbourne we visit Otway Forest Park. Here we get to walk along the highest hiking trail in Australia with a breathtaking view of the magnificent Otway ridges. We go up the 600 m long and 25 m high passage and enjoy the unique flora and fauna of the tropical forest from above.
Walking time: approx. 1.5 h

Return and overnight in Melbourne
Driving time: approx. 3 h

Transfer to the airport and return flight
At the agreed time, the driver will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby and will take you to the airport.
Your return flight ends the tour.
