1. Highlight: Visit to the "Atma Alam Batik Art Village"
We start our day with the exciting excursion to the Batik Center in Langkawi. Batik is an ancient Malaysian art form and a traditional textile dyeing process that involves applying patterns to the fabric using liquid wax. The building extends over half a hectare and consists of a batik workshop, a gallery and an exhibition hall.
2nd highlight: walk through an architectural marvel - "Sky Bridge"
Then we take the cable car to the top of the mountain "Mat Cincang", to the famous bridge "Sky Bridge". It hangs 100 m above a ravine and is one of the longest, curved pedestrian bridges in the world. From here there is a spectacular view of the surrounding rocky landscape and the seemingly endless jungle.
3rd highlight: Relaxation at the "Seven Wells" waterfalls (Telaga Tujuh)
Not far from the "Sky Bridge" is one of Langkawi's most impressive natural attractions - the "Seven Wells" waterfalls. Here we find seven connected natural pools fed by seven separate waterfalls. In this cool, beautiful place we can relax and even bathe in one of the small natural pools.

In the morning we drive to the monument of Ms. Kota Mahsuri to learn about the main legend of the island and learn more about its history. In the garden of the village we find typical Malaysian wooden houses and two small museums.
2nd highlight: Drive to Kuah, the island's capital
Then we drive to the island's capital Kuah and stroll through "Eagle Square" - one of the most popular sights in the city with the 12m high eagle statue. The "Brown Eagle" is a landmark of Langkawi and has given the island its name. Afterwards, the Park of Legends (Taman Lagenda) is on our schedule. Here, in the 50 ha green area with numerous exotic plants and fruit trees, there are a total of 17 sculptures depicting figures and scenes from various legends.

Our tour takes about 5 h and takes us across the Kilim River in the geopark of the same name out to sea. This day will be full of adventure for us: In addition to boundless mangrove forests, we see lots of monkeys, feed the famous Brown Eagles, visit two caves with bizarre limestone formations and go to a fish farm. At the end of the tour we also stop at the beautiful "Pasir Panjang Beach" to swim.

After breakfast we take the boat to Penang (approx. 3.5 hours). Upon arrival, the driver will meet us and accompany us to the hotel in Penang.
2nd highlight: free time
Option 1: Visit to the "Rainbow Skywalk" viewing platform
In the evening we recommend visiting the Rainbow Skywalk, an open-air viewing point on the roof of the Komtar building. It is the highest point in George Town, 250 m above the ground, with a breathtaking 360° panorama. It's more than just a beautiful roof with a view, however - there is a transparent, crescent-shaped glass walkway from which you can see the streets and traffic of the city right under your feet.
Option 2: walk through the botanical garden
Enjoy a variety of local and imported plants at Penang Botanical Gardens, possibly the world's largest botanical garden next to a city center. These include the canonball tree, giant acacias and ferns, and a number of interesting little greenhouses where cacti and orchids grow.

We begin our excursion through Penang with a visit to the "Blue Manor" from the 19th century, which was built in the Chinese architectural style of the imperial era. The exterior of the manor is characterized by its indigo blue walls, Gothic windows with stained glass and Chinese cuts and paste in porcelain that make it a very extraordinary building.
2nd highlight: visit to the Baba Nyonya mansion
The Peranakan or Baba-Nyonya are the Malay-Chinese descendants who inherited the best part of their two original cultures. Peranakan Mansion in Penang is one of the best preserved traditional Baba Nyonya mansions in Malaysia. Converted into a museum, it has become a fantastic place to learn about one of the original people of Malaysia, as well as their luxurious way of life and their housewares.
3rd highlight: Walk through "Little India"
After leaving the museum, we are immediately in Little India. Here we are surrounded by the scent of curry and Indian incense. There are dozens of shops and stalls selling all kinds of spices, saris, and gold jewelry. This is the best place in Penang to try Indian delicacies as well as freshly made cocktails. The Sri Mahamariamman Temple is one of the main attractions of the place, the central place for the performance of pujas and traditional Indian prayers.

We begin our excursion through Penang with a visit to the "Blue Manor" from the 19th century, which was built in the Chinese architectural style of the imperial era. In the afternoon we go on an exciting walk through the city. On the way we see the famous "Petronas Twin Towers", which reach a height of 452 m. Then we visit the central market, a center of handicrafts, where we can choose local souvenirs. Then we have the opportunity to enjoy various chocolates in the "Cocoa Boutique".
Later we visit the residence of the King of Malaysia "Istana Negara" with the gleaming domes of the palace and visit the gardens of the national mosque.
