1st highlight: Burnaby Village Museum - all day
We spend the first day of our Christmas trip at the Burnaby Village open-air museum. The old-fashioned streets and historic buildings are decorated for Christmas and enchant every visitor with their fantastic lights. There are reindeer adorned in red, dancing figures, Christmas music, and shops of all shapes and colors.

1st highlight: Cypress Mountain lookout point
We start with a fantastic drive to the best viewing point in Vancouver. We are rewarded with a fantastic view of Mount Baker volcano and Georgia Strait, a waterway that separates Vancouver Island from the mainland. On request, we also have the opportunity to experience the beautiful sunrise from this point.

2nd highlight: Stanley Park
After a short break, we will continue our Vancouver tour with a scenic bus ride through Stanley Park. With an area of almost 400 ha, it is one of the most impressive green spaces on earth. And thanks to the continuous maintenance of the city, this dreamlike place still looks like it looked 100 years ago.

3rd highlight: Stanley totem poles
With their bold colors and detailed carvings, the totem poles are one of the most visited attractions in the park. They play an important role for the indigenous tribes of North America as they tell a part of their story. Among other things, they were set up to commemorate the deceased, to represent the position of a family within society or to represent a family tree. The best known is called "Raven - the spirit of transformation" and it represents a white raven.

4th highlight: Stanley Park Bright Nights
In the evening we can explore the park in the glow of the twinkling lights and take the miniature train through the sea of lights in 12 min. You can also eat something at one of the numerous stands or end the day with a cup of mulled wine.

1st highlight: Capilano suspension bridge with Canyon Lights
Follow us into the wild and romantic nature of Canada. The suspension bridge is one of the top attractions of Vancouver and is really impressive with its 137 m length. We also hike over the treetops on the so-called Treetop Adventure and then walk along the Capilano Canyon. Shortly before Christmas we also have the opportunity to see the bridge with thousands of lights.

2nd highlight: Lantern Festival
The lantern festival is held every year on December 21st and celebrates the end of the long days in honor of the winter solstice. Here you can enjoy the music, make lanterns or explore the labyrinth by candlelight. The highlight is the procession in the evening followed by the fire show.

1st highlight: Sea to Sky Highway
Today we make our way to Whistler. We're driving on one of the most beautiful highways in North America. The "Sea to Sky Highway" is officially known as Highway 99 and leads along the impressive coastal and mountainous landscapes of the province.

2nd highlight: Sea to Sky Gondola
Shortly before Whistler we make our first stop of the day and get on board the Sea To Sky Gondola. This spectacular technical masterpiece lies in a dreamlike setting and represents the gateway to numerous adventures. We hike through a romantic landscape and look at the wonderful "Shannon Falls" and the Sky Pilot suspension bridge.

3rd highlight: Shannon Falls
At 335 m, the waterfalls are among the highest in the province. We can also hike through the ancient rainforest, enjoy the landscape and have a refreshing picnic in the midst of this beautiful nature.

1st highlight: peak-to-peak gondola
This cable car is known for its wonderful 360 ° panoramic view of Whistler Village: mountain peaks, lakes, glaciers and forests of the region. Thanks to the special glass floor of the gondola, we can also see the beautiful landscape pass by from above.

2nd highlight: Whistler Village
This district of Whistler is also called the "beating heart" of the social community. Whether culture or food, education or entertainment, shopping or nature - there is something for everyone to see. Enjoy this experience with all your senses and get to know the place.

1st highlight: Peak of Christmas
Merry Christmas! Today we will experience the magic of Vancouver again and visit the Peak of Christmas Event. There you can go skiing, sledding, ice skating or watch Christmas films. The two highlights are the gingerbread village and the magical Light Walk through the snow-covered winter forest.

2nd highlight: Vancouver Christmas Market
With its figures, the shining Christmas tree and Lover's Lane, this is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Canada. The latter is a romantic tunnel consisting of lights and numerous mistletoe branches. Explore the numerous stalls and enjoy your Christmas in the heart of Vancouver.

Highlight: free time
You can design this day individually. Our recommendation is to visit the Lafarge Lake in the evening. The 1.2 km long tour around the lake is adorned with glittering lights, enchanting arcades and Christmas figures at this time of the year.
