2. highlight: "Hell Valley"
The "Hell Valley" or Jigokudani is a spectacular valley north of Noboribetsu. Here we can find a large number of hot springs and geysers that provide the place with warm water. Here we can also find hundreds of macaques or snow monkeys, which are in the hot springs. If we follow the paths through the forest around the valley, we finally come to Oyunuma, a lake with a temperature of 50°C.
