Berlin is multifaceted and unique. Its story cannot be called simple. After the Second World Wart the city was separated in the East and West by the famous Berlin Wall. These 28 years made a huge impact on the developing of the city and its culture. Today we can enjoy the peculiar atmosphere of the city, which combines the medieval architecture, American and Soviet cultures of the last century, as well as modernity and multinationality.
After the breakfast we start our city tour, which covers all the main attractions of this city: the snow-white Brandenburg Gate, the majestic Reichstag, as well as the Berlin Wall, a symbol of the Cold War and post-war Germany. Then we take a walk along the main street of the city "Unter den Linden" and visit the 19th-century Chocolate House (Ger. "Schokoladenhaus Fassbender & Rausch"). At the end of the tour we come to the Holocaust Memorial that consists of a 19,000-square-metre site covered with 2,711 concrete "stelae" and get to know a little bit more about the facts of the Second World War and its impacts on the developing this city in 20th century.

Visiting the main attractions of Dresden
Dresden is a city of amazing beauty and one of the most important cultural centres of art and a baroque pearl. The city was almost completely destroyed during the Second World War and then carefully restored again. Despite its tragic past, Dresden is still filled with history and architecture these days and proudly bears the name "Florence on the Elbe". Today during the tour, we will visit the main attractions of Dresden that are concentrated in its historic heart. Among them is the baroque church "Frauenkirche" that is famed for its grand dome; the "Procession of Princes" (Ger. Fürstenzug), the largest porcelain artwork in the world that portrays a mounted procession of the rulers of Saxony; a palatial complex with gardens "Zwinger" of the beginning of the 18th century and many others.
At the end of the tour we visit the world's most beautiful dairy store of 19th century decorated with neo-Renaissance tiles. On its upper floor you can relax in the cosy cafe and try the Saxonian potato soup, local quark balls and Dresdener Eierschecke (tasty cake that is made of creamy stirred egg yolk).
On the other half of the day you can freely plan your time. Please use our list with attractions in Dresden for choosing further places to explore.

Excursion to the Saxon Switzerland
Saxon Switzerland is a unique nature reserve around the Elbe valley with 1,000 climbing peaks. It received this name in 18th century due to the two Swiss artists, Adrian Zingg and Anton Graff, that were in love with its beautiful landscapes reminiscent of their homeland. This place fascinates with amazingly shaped sand cliffs, as well as wide plateaus and deep crevices. One of the main attractions here was built in 1851 from the sandstone "Bastei Bridge". August von Goethe so described this place: "Here, from where you see right down to the Elbe from the most rugged rocks, where a short distance away the crags of the Lilienstein, Königstein and Pffafenstein stand scenically together and the eye takes in a sweeping view that can never be described in words." And he was right. The observation platforms give us a magnificent panoramic view on the Elbe, the labyrinth of gorges and on the fortress "Konigstein" on the opposite side of the river.

In the morning we return back to Germany and drive to the capital of the finest Bavaria region – Munich. After all, here are the best ski resorts in the country, the largest number of recipes for meat dishes, the largest number of registered beer recipes, the most visited castles and the largest number of cities over 800 years of age. The world's largest beer festival "Oktoberfest" takes place here. Munich as the capital of this beautiful region has a number of attractions that we start to explore on the second part of the day. We discover Munich's inner city, visit its Kathedrale "Frauenkirche" and look at the Devil´s Footstep there, look into the old and new town hall and walk on the daily Viktualienmarkt in the heart of its inner part hearing the legends and history about this majestic city.

Breakfast at the hotel
After the breakfast we drive on the west-sought part of Bavaria to visit the Neuschwanstein Castle located at the foot of the alps that strikes with its beauty and incredible location. This castle is the result of the romantic fantasy of the king Ludwig II, who in 1869 ordered to lower the cliffs by 8 meters to create a miracle of architecture - the medieval knight's castle. By its building Ludwig II insisted on the personal approval of each drawing. At the end his participation in its building was so significant that the castle was considered his personal creation. The death of Ludwig II was not still unravelled, but people relate it with the building of this castle. The interior of the castle is also impressive. During the tour, we will visit his throne room, living and dining rooms as well as other halls, decorated with illustrations from Wagner's operas and ancient German legends. And of course, it's hard not to notice the swan motif here. It permeates the entire architecture and art decorations of the castle.
