Our first day starts with the drive from our starting point in Munich to Geneva, the second largest city in Switzerland.

Overnight at a campsite in Geneva
Driving time: approx. 7 h, 590 km
Highlight: City tour through Geneva
Today we do a city tour through the beautiful city. We will see the huge fountain on Lake Geneva and walk along the promenade. We also visit the old town, which is the largest historical center in Switzerland. Among other things, we explore St. Peter's Cathedral, the Place-du-Bourg and very close by the Treille Promenade with the longest wooden bench in the world (120m).

You can spend the rest of the day relaxing at Lake Geneva and go swimming.

1. Highlight: Annecy
The small town, which is not far from Geneva, enchants with its unique charm. The city's pastel-colored stone houses meander along the clear blue waters of the Thiou. You might think you've already arrived in Venice. This city is perfect for a leisurely stroll along the cobbled streets to the Palais de l'Isle, the local history museum, or the Château d'Annecy, an art museum and former home of the Counts and Dukes of Annecy.

2. Highlight: Pont d'Arc Ardeche
This natural stone bridge is beautifully situated on the Ardeche River. It is about 60 m long, 54 m high and thousands of years old. Near the bridge you can enjoy the water and the great nature.

Option: Chauvet Cave
The grotto is a faithful replica of the historic Stone Age cave with its drawings. There are around 500 painted or engraved depictions of animals that are depicted hunting, galloping or fighting. Here our ancestors created a perspective masterpiece thousands of years ago.

Overnight at a campsite in Vallont Pont d'Arc
Driving time: approx. 4.5 h, 360 km
1. Highlight: Cap de Creus
We start the day early in the morning, cross the border to Spain and make our way to the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula - Cap de Creus. The nature park is characterized by the rugged rock formations that protrude into the clear sea water and are home to several endemic animal and plant species that only exist here. The unique views already inspired the artist Salvador Dali, who lived and worked in Cadaqués, a town in the national park.

2. Highlight: Dali Museum
Figueres is all about Salvador Dali. Here we visit one of the most visited museums in Spain. It is a surrealist work of art in itself and houses exhibitions about the artist's creations.

Overnight at a campsite in Figueres
Driving time: approx. 6 h, 420 km
1. Highlight: Girona
The city wall, which can be walked on, offers a great panoramic view of the colorful city, which is divided by a river into the old town and the more modern part of the city. The red Eiffel Bridge that connects both parts was designed by the famous architect Gustave Eiffel. In the old town we come across historic buildings such as the Santa Maria Cathedral.

2. Highlight: Tossa de Mar
Tossa de Mar is a historic fishing village that is regularly chosen as a summer retreat by eminent artists and academics. The narrow streets give the district a medieval flair and arouse curiosity to explore the place further. The medieval castle of the city lures with its romantic charm and a fantastic view.

Drive to and overnight at a campsite in Barcelona
Driving time: approx. 3 h, 170 km
1. Highlight: Park Guell (UNESCO)
Located on Carmel Hill on the outskirts of Barcelona, this urban park reflects the artistic creativity of Antoni Gaudí. Pay special attention to the small details and the beautiful mosaics and works of art as you stroll leisurely through the artists' garden.

2. Highlight: La Sagrada Família (UNESCO)
Here, too, we visit a work by the artist Antoni Gaudí, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Due to the long construction period of the building, which continues to this day, several styles are combined, such as modern and neo-Gothic. Before starting our tour inside the church, it is worth walking around the basilica and contemplating all the details of the Passion facade and the even more spectacular Nativity facade.

Overnight at a campsite in Barcelona

You have the day at leisure until noon. We recommend the famous shopping street La Rambla, where you can experience the hustle and bustle of the city. If you want to get a wonderful view, the 520 m high Tibidabo mountain even offers a view of Montserrat in good weather.

Drive to and overnight at a campsite in Valencia
Driving time: approx. 4 h, 350 km
Highlight: City tour of Valencia
A mix of sandstone colored historic buildings, cute old streets and ultra modern architectural centers await you in Valencia. During our approximately 2 h tour of Valencia we will of course see the 33m high Serranos Towers, which were built at the end of the 14th century as part of the city walls. El Miguelete Cathedral, with its striking silhouette, is another of the city's landmarks. In contrast to these historical buildings, we also find modern, even futuristic building complexes in Valencia, such as the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, an institution for art and science. In addition to a planetarium, it also houses a cinema, several museums and an Ozeaneum.

Overnight at a campsite in Valencia

1. Highlight: Peñon de Ifach
The coastal town of Calp on the Costa Blanca is a picturesque holiday resort with the landmark Peñon de Ifach, a huge rock massif that clearly rises over 300m on the coast and characterizes the skyline of Calp. Here we will climb the rock together to enjoy the magnificent view from the top. If the weather allows a clear view, we can even see as far as Ibiza. Many plant and animal species are grow and live here. The trip is particularly suitable for bird lovers, because with a bit of luck you can see the Eleonora's falcon or the cormorant.

2. Highlight: Flamingo colonies at the salt lake Calpe - Las Salinas
The large salt water lagoon was already used by the ancient Romans as a salt garden. The unique nature in this area is determined by the humid climate and is of volcanic origin. A special feature are the flamingo colonies, which can be observed from a safe distance via boardwalks or the routes along the lake.

2. Highlight: Flamenco show
In the evening we can take part in a typical Spanish tradition – flamenco. In this dance performance, an authentic gypsy wedding is presented first and in the second part we learn more about the modern form of dance with stronger musical forms.
